Hi everyone since I found out a couple of days ago that I have achieved SVR 12 (yay ) I’ve been thinking of all of you so much that I just had to get back here to share this great news with you! Well It is SVR 14 actually because for one reason or another I waited a little longer to get my labs done. Thank you Dr. Freeman and everyone in this forum for your support and enthusiasm! You will be always in my heart even If I get distracted by the awesomeness that a Hep C free life is and act like a stranger by not posting here for months!! Much and a big hug from Brazil.

Hi everyone I was waiting for a SVR 4 before posting again so since my lab results just came out yesterday here I am with the VERY good news that the HCV RNA bloods came UNDETECTED!

Such a relief as these last days prior to the labs I was getting a bit paranoid and suspicious I might relapse! One of the reasons was that immediately after EOT I felt great, super great actually for about two weeks but then on weeks 3 and 4 after EOT I felt tired again and some of those pre tx pains in my joints – as well as on the soles of my feet – returned with a ” vengeance” ! OH MY!

I see now that those sides and fatigue post tx were probably part of the healing process and although I know I have to wait for SVR 12 and SVR 24 to really celebrate and consider myself cured – I am so so happy that I have come this far and so wanted to shared it with all of you.

My liver is looking pretty good too by the way so I SHOULD just relax from now and enjoy the ride until it is time for that SVR 12 test in early November.

ALT = 5
AST = 13
Alkaline Phosphastase = 44
Bilirubin Total = 0.2
Albumin = 4.2
Total Protein = 6.6

Best wishes to all of you and thank you so much for your presence! Hope we all achieve SVR and that those reading this forum who are still undecided to treat with generic DAAs – please take the plunge asap because these meds really work and there is a whole new HEP C life waiting for us! xoxo

Hi Claudel I am four weeks after EOT today but can recognize some of those sides while on generic harvoni. One of the things that helped me a lot to keep them at bay was to drink 64 ounces (2 litters) of fluids a day and avoid heavy foods (we usually know what they are! illy:' /> ). But keeping well hydrated seemed to do the trick for me specially for headaches! Best of luck, it might be that like me and others you also get to experience a sort of ” high” from the DAAs and enjoy a great surge of energy for few weeks. It happened to me during weeks 3, 4 and 5!
