The good doctor needs to weigh in here it seems. I had to get my immunizations before my GI would allow me to start tx. I don’t know if it was a health issue or an insurance requirement.

Hi dt,
Mine was powder-no lumps. I don’t know what to say about disolving. I can’t see why it wouldn’t.

Maybe just weigh 400 mg of “lumps”, get a shot glass of warm water,
dump in the lumps, see what happens, then toss that bad boy down.
You can chase it with the led or dac.
Did your powder come lumpy or get lumpy?

The two drugs in the earlier posting are Pepcid and Prilosec. I think the main thrust was you can take it, but in limited amounts. I am totally staying away from anything that reduces the normal acid levels in my stomach. As far as meals, I haven’t had any issues. I drink my 4/5 cups of Kenyan coffee with my pill, then eat breakfast. I basically went vegan after my diagnosis and quit drinking alcohol. My v/l went from 4.9 million to 1.6 after 8 months. I imagine alcohol was the reason. Hell on the liver.

I am sorry. I was at school when I found the earlier info on Harvoni and food and drug interactions. I can’t find that article now. This is what came with my “factory” Harvoni.
