Oh and in regard to this….

Blimey. Enkel, I know the man in question he was Geno type 4 Pre treatment
and post treatment he was Geno Type 3 his consultant same as mine explained it too me.

Geno type mutation is not unheard of!

I could be wrong, but I think it is unheard of. Mutations of genotype into a more resistant strain of the same genotype, yes. Mutation of one geno into another, I don’t think so. My bet would be this person has gotten reinfected with a different genotype.[/quote]

    Ah, I deleted my original reply to this;

The person in question was 12 all the way through his Gilead Harvoni he never reached UD
his Geno type was 4 during treatment within six weeks of failing he was now a Geno type 3.
So, no he did not reinfect himself he was never cured in the first place ,the explanation I was given
by him and his consultant ( We share the same Dr) was his Geno type mutated.
You or anyone else may not like the explanation I am simply reporting the facts as explained to me
I only mentioned it as he failed treatment.

FFS. The man had Hep C for 33 years you think all those years of Geno Type tests they got it wrong
    and now its right!

I couldn’t give one shit if you believe him or his consultant.

You know, I only mentioned him as he was the only person I knew who failed Gilead’s Harvoni
the Geno type changing was an interesting part of the story I honestly wish I’d never mentioned it.

Well, like I said in the previous thread, best I can see the majority who fail don’t reach UD during
the 12 weeks they are usually 12 throughout then post treatment the virus is no longer being
suppressed via medications therefore it comes back.

There is a small percentage, I mean tiny who are UD during the 12 weeks and the virus also
comes back they don’t know why, these treatments are new its gonna take some time to figure out
why some maybe resistant to treatment.

Lastly, they have being retreating those who fail with success it seems these people react better
    to extra DAA.

The patients I have heard of that have failed most of them never got past 12 up too
week 12. Simply put they never made it to Undetected.

I don’t know I buy the theory Sob alone is enough to get us all UD before EOT I think we would have seen
far higher fail rates before EOT so far we have not we have seen UD from week 2/4/6/8/10

Lastly, the one person I know who failed on Gilead Harvoni also never made it past 12 throughout the
12 weeks his Geno type also mutated post treatment. This individual is now on a new Combo and is UD from
week 2 is now UD at week 12 they expect him to succeed.

There is hope for the small percentage who fail.

He’s a fucking sociopath absolute horrid individual!

No emotion, zero empathy he is the face of everything wrong with greed for greed’s sake.

Listen to the new CEO suggesting its hospitals and Insurance that pick up the cost due to these drugs
being administered mostly in hospital settings. Ugh, they make me sick.

Look, its natural we all faced anxiety when we started as we finish we also face the
same anxieties when we read someone in the business ,we think. Hmm.

I am 100% confident, everyone who has reached UD will go ahead and be UD at SVR therefore
cured I include myself in that.

I actually think this particular DR if he had such great concern run should have Run a Trial of generics instead
of making a bunch of folk worry!

Oh,hang on there is a Dr doing a Trial its James Freeman ,I think the stats will speak for themselves along
with all of us becoming cured from generics.

Ps. I don’t think the sob would sustain so many people to be UD unless the Led was also
working the research suggests Sob on its own has it down to the 60/70 % for G 1 I would
think quite a few showed 12 at best then failed outright after treatment.

Lynn, I am confident you’re on track and will be fine.

Enkel 12 is not UD you constantly saying its so does not make it any more true.

    Dan. Great news.

No great advice on my end if you continue or not I agree at week 8 the evidence suggests you will
remain UD now and post treatment.

I am continuing as I’d all ready bought the medications I thought Id make use of four extra weeks:)

The Stats may be slightly behind on Generics everything I have read/seen about these drugs suggests if you
reach Undetected by week/2/4/6/8/10/12 you have a 98% chance of being SVR at 12 weeks post treatment.

Look at the results thus far, most if not all of those on Twinvir are UD by week 12 at the latest, if Sob was
the only ingredient working we would see about 30% not reaching UD at all throughout the 12 weeks.

So, the suggestion that Sob alone is keeping the virus UD during treatment leading to failure post treatment
is not within any research I have read at all.

Thurl, my understanding of those who fail treatment is you re-treat them I have never heard of anyone yet having to do
life long suppression treatment I guess for the small % who fail its an option.

I sent Monk Med my paperwork, did the phone call once my order was released by FixHepC
it was in London within the week.

They are excellent in communicating with you as you go through the process I honestly can’t
say enough good things about them.

FixHepC uses Monk Med to process the orders you have nothing to worry about.

    Order and get well.

I have also bought from FixhepC before the trials I had to extend treatment.

    2.5 weeks.

I’m happy I did it, I feel better and I am relieved I made the decision its great to know the virus is
gone. Oh, I had no side effects what do ever I have being very lucky.
