I’ve been taking Jeunesse AM & PM Essentials nutrients for a couple of months and definitely felt better even before Tx. They contain a decent amount of B6 and B12 plus about a million other things to make you younger and healthier.
The PM ones help you get to sleep but I still have trouble staying asleep for long enough.
They’re pretty spendy but I’ve ditched all other supplements apart from small amounts of magnesium and silica. I also only take one of each a day instead of the recommended two. I actually get them from my osteopath for wholesale price. They have a “preferred customer” plan that will save a bundle too.
And no, I’m not associated with the company. :)

One of my favourite bands from their last tour.

Talk Talk – It’s My Life

Funny how I find myself, in love with you
If I could buy my reasoning, I’d pay to lose
    One half won’t do

I’ve asked myself, how much do you…commit yourself?
It’s my life, don’t you forget
It’s my life, it never ends..

Funny how I blind myself, I never knew
If I was sometimes played upon, afraid to lose

I’d tell myself, what good you do
    Convince myself
It’s my life, don’t you forget
It’s my life, it never ends..

It’s my life, don’t you forget
Caught in the crowd, it never ends
It’s my life, don’t you forget
Caught in the crowd, it never ends

Hi Sonix Thanks for posting all the info. Iam also 1a 30 plus years. Can I ask why you decided on sof/dac and not sof/led ? Cheers, and Happy new year. Jill

Partly because of the $700 price difference, but confirmed by Dr James that Sof/Dac should be at least as effective as Sof/Led, and possibly better but trials have been small so far.
And yes, you need a script.

    Happy New Year to all!

My recent bloods show a possible lack of VitB12 and / or Folic Acid, I eat tons of leafy green veg, but according to what I have read, they may not be absorbing correctly.

It’s hard to get enough B12 from vegetable sources.

I get that on my lower legs, primarily on the shins where there is not much between the skin and bone. Have subconciously scratched it till it bleeds a number of times. Aloe vera gel seems to work quite well, alleviating the itching almost immediately and reducing the severity after using 2 or 3 times a day for a couple of days.
I also get seborrhoeic dermatitis on my face, which is dry scaley, oily (yes both) and shows as a reddish rash similar to rosacea. It seems to respond to cortisone cream to some extent, but it’s not a cure and I don’t want to use steroids regularly.
I’m very curious to see if these skin problems reduce after the DAA treatment. Fingers crossed!

I confess to having a couple of Stone’s ginger beers on Xmas day after drinking almost nothing for the last 6 months. Tasted nice but I don’t think it did me much good. I think it just amplified my tiredness from lack of sleep recently so I needed a few hours nap afterwards.

Grant to us the serenity of mind to accept that which cannot be changed; courage to change that which can be changed, and wisdom to hide the bodies of those who pissed us off. ;)

I don’t recommend it. Every muscle aches, fever, headache, loose bowels, skin rash, and I only had a mild case. If it progresses to dengue haemorrhagic fever you can get bleeding sores on your skin. Platelet levels got pretty low and the travel insurance medicos wouldn’t let me leave hospital till they started rising. 8 days in hospital in Trang. Was very fatigued for a couple of months after returning to Australia.
    Be careful of mosquitoes!

    Suggestions
Doctor code for times – 4/52, 8/52 etc
Abbreviations for drug names – SOF, DAC, LED etc. not sure if these are the normal “doctor” abbreviations. :)

That’s really interesting. When I was in hospital this year in Thailand with dengue fever, B6/B12 tablets were the only medication they gave me apart from stuff to alleviate symptoms.
I might get some. Not injections though. Ewww.

This would be particularly important for vegetarians as there are no reliable vegetable sources of B12.

I think my anxiety level dropped a couple of points after reading this post on Quora yesterday –

    Cockroach Theory
A beautiful speech by an unknown, may be Sundar Pichai, MAY BE:
The cockroach theory for self development
At a restaurant, a cockroach suddenly flew from somewhere and sat on a lady.
She started screaming out of fear.
With a panic stricken face and trembling voice, she started jumping, with both her hands desperately trying to get rid of the cockroach.
Her reaction was contagious, as everyone in her group also got panicky.
The lady finally managed to push the cockroach away but …it landed on another lady in the group.
Now, it was the turn of the other lady in the group to continue
    the drama.
The waiter rushed forward to their rescue.
In the relay of throwing, the cockroach next fell upon the waiter.
The waiter stood firm, composed himself and observed the behavior of the cockroach on his shirt.
When he was confident enough, he grabbed it with his fingers and threw it out of the restaurant.
Sipping my coffee and watching the amusement, the antenna of my mind picked up a few thoughts and started wondering, was the cockroach responsible for their histrionic behavior?
If so, then why was the waiter not disturbed?
He handled it near to perfection, without any chaos.
It is not the cockroach, but the inability of those people to handle the disturbance caused by the cockroach, that disturbed the ladies.
I realized that, it is not the shouting of my father or my boss or my wife that disturbs me, but it’s my inability to handle the disturbances caused by their shouting that disturbs me.
It’s not the traffic jams on the road that disturbs me, but my inability to handle the disturbance caused by the traffic jam that disturbs me.
More than the problem, it’s my reaction to the problem that creates chaos in my life.
    Lessons learnt from the story:
I understood, I should not react in life.
    I should always respond.
The women reacted, whereas the waiter responded.
Reactions are always instinctive whereas responses are always well thought of.
    A beautiful way to understand…………LIFE.
Person who is HAPPY is not because Everything is RIGHT in his Life..
He is HAPPY because his Attitude towards Everything in his Life is Right..!!
