What I plan on doing; Sofosbuvir+Velpatasvir+GS9857. We have to wait for the GS9857 a few months.

I’m not sure how much MonkMed or their prices are. I went through Kingswood Pharmacy the first time, and it was ~$1200 shipped for two drugs Sofosbuvir and Daclatasvir. $840 for Sofosvel seems to be a good deal.

Yes. I can attest to Beacon’s integrity. Sofosvel just came out like 2 weeks ago, so it is still new. Monkmed and all that is fine also. If you want, you could steer them to Dr. Freeman @ GP2U.com, and let him write the script. He then forwards it directly to beacon, and the process is expedited that way. Sofosvel is Sofosbuvir, and Velpatasvir, and constitutes a complete, accepted fixed-dose combination for the treatment of all genotypes HepC.

$840 for the Sofosvel. You’re in the Sofosvel thread. The other drugs are available through other channels, but I got mine directly from Beacon Pharmaceuticals. A script, a bank transfer, and they’re on their way! From what I’ve been reading, (and I have read a lot ), Sof/Vel is the best option for treating ALL genotypes now.

What I gleaned from this is Sof/Vel is way better at treating people with RAV’s than say Sof/Dac. So it would be better for relapsers. However, I am still going to wait for the silver bullet, Vox.

Doesn’t it say in there somewhere about SVR12 >90% of DAA failed treatment?

Should we start a new thread titled ‘Vox”?

    I found this today:
In summary, administration of multiple doses of GS-9857 was well tolerated and resulted in a robust decline of HCV RNA levels in patients with genotype 1–4 HCV infection. Notably, the potent antiviral activity of GS-9857 was preserved in the presence of commonly observed NS3 mutations associated with resistance to protease inhibitors. GS-9857 demonstrated linear PK when administered at doses ranging from 50 to 300 mg under fasting conditions. The median half-life of GS-9857 ranged from 29 to 42 h, conducive to once-daily dosing. Lastly, GS-9857 has demonstrated additive antiviral activity when evaluated in vitro in combination with sofosbuvir or velpatasvir.[5] Together, these data support the further development of once-daily GS-9857 in combination with other DAAs for the treatment of patients with chronic HCV infection.
