Labs right before 1st meds on 7/12/2016 :
AST- 55 IU/L
ALT- 69 IU/L

Viral count – 3,471,080 as of first day right before first dose taken 7/12/2016

Update: feeling very good, energy great, brain fog almost non existent, red spots diminishing.
No real side effects accept BP high due to anxiety on first day ( I think this was it), pain in upper right quadrant now gone.

Well I can honestly say, the way I am feeling compared to 7 days ago is extraordinary. My right upper quadrant which was sometimes very painful is now gone, the red spots on my arms and chest are diminishing (I hated those spots). Simply put, it is at this point, incredible.
I’ll post more in a few days, hopefully with the same vigor and results as I feel today. If something drastic comes up I’ll post sooner.

First, thank you to all whom posted good wishes to me, this is a fantastic place to be I’m very fortunate to be here.

Now I must say so far, yes so far….going on day 7 tomorrow morning there is barely any issues with meds minus a little more fatigue and a taste of high BP initially. I’m impressed seriously.
We all have heard by word of mouth, conversation and posts of those whom have had a difficult time on genetic Harvoni, I truly hope they all stay the course and there symptoms subside.
Thank you all and I’ll continue to make my journey public to this forum.

PS: I really do feel much better. Placibo? I’m not sure but what ever it is has me feeling better, clearer minded and a bit more even keeled.

Yes I agree it is not the attitude to take if at all possible and never do it in front of them. My GI is like that, but has now decided to do all the blood work and monitoring of the generics.
It is always the norm, we catch more bee’s with honey than vinegar!!

They are all the same, high and mighty. They have never made so much money in their lives until the HCV made them rich, famous and inconsiderate. If you don’t remember my GI said the same thing but relented in the end. I must say I can do this without them but if he wants to come along while I fight dragon, I will let him. That being said he will not dictate to me as he tried to the last time, as you and I spoke about it. Yes I am a little miffed at these inconsiderate jack-asses whom only made a name for themselves at our expense. How dare they say they’ll take you off the list! However, you did the right thing in rolling with it, and taking your actions out of sight from them.

Do you think that Big Pharma could be using this “gossip” method through sleezy channels to discourage people form using generics with the C word as a detriment? After all, it would benefit them in the short term and long term as brand name meds will only go down in price due to new meds reaching the market place so they benefit in both ways. Yes it is a radical theory and far fetched, but co’s like GS know how to make/take money from anyone, very sleazily too.
Word of mouth has many benefits, even the lower levels of society who love money more than life itself can throw in shill gossipers to poison markets for their benefit, is not unheard of.
Ok I maybe on a tangent but it is possible, maybe far fetched, but possible.

Hey Fitz I’ll try this again, my last one disappeared!
I’m happy your moving forward with not many negative side effects, that is excellent.
The Mel you had removed was a great find by you and you got it before it dug it’s heals in. The plastic surgeons are awesome and they dial the scar in if needed, however you may not even need it as like they did an incredible job of doing great work initially.
I also wanted to say you are a positive source/force for pointing us all toward success on this forum, you never have a bad thing to say and you are strong enough to set the right tone if you differ from one posters thoughts. That takes incredible finesse and insight to be able to do that. So before I throw down my next dose in about 15 minutes, I just wanted you to know how important your posts have been to all of us.
