I just read Hep Australia website which is now listing the buyers club on their website as a place to go to get generics. Thankyou Helen Tyrell.

That’s big getting the word out from somewhere a lot of people are likely to look for information and that is permanently available. Rather than media stories which are transitory and can be easily missed if you don’t see it the day it is published or aired.
Big props to Helen Tyrell and HA. She can also be assured that when the drugs are listed on the PBS a lot of people unable to afford the generics will be able to get treated because of those who have paid for their own meds.
19 December 2015 at 9:23 am #6682Well done to Hep Aust.
I don’t doubt that the personal experiences/postings by Em and others from this forum have helped sway their formerly unequivocal stance. As you say Chester, the word about achievable cures should get out to a whole wider audience now. Great stuff!

19 December 2015 at 11:35 am #6690Just saw my story on the “Speak Out” forum with Hep Australia which I posted on 8/12. Glad they approved and posted it……..I made it short and sweet but to the point. It’s great to see that word is “getting out there”. It was the first site I visited when I found out I had the virus.
YMMV
19 December 2015 at 2:17 pm #6708This link has found its way onto The Hepatitis Foundation of New Zealand’s page, lets hope it spurs them into action – its been very quiet on the generic front from them.

Melbourne, Australia19 December 2015 at 4:07 pm #6716In recent years their page has been my go to for updates on the progress of treatments. I’d just check in every now and then to get an update. I checked their website just recently after discovering fixhepc and found not a mention which I was really disappointed about. I felt ripped off as though the news I’d been depending on had be skewed all this time. So I am very pleased to see this! It is wonderful news
