It would be interesting to know which patients have no/more side effects according to weight, although I understand that not all may wish to share, but I would find it interesting as I am very tiny. Thank-you Tim, Dr Debasis @ MonkMed & Dr Freeman @ Fix HepC26 October 2015 at 6:32 am #2758Hi Hamilton
We tried to chat the other day but the system was clunky. I’m emilio, geno 1b and currently day 20 of sof/dac and only doing 12 weeks at this stage. F2/3 approximate. Treated before with IFN/Riba and polymerase inhibitor in 2008 for 63 weeks. While F3/4 doesn’t quite make you cirrhotic it’s getting up there and I can see the need to hit this longer and harder maybe. What’s your VL? starting. I was considering extending to 24 weeks but will make that decision in a week or so, just see how my body responds. In regard to the ribavirin, if it were me I wouldn’t use again as a geno 1 but I do see the benefits in leading out with Rbv and leading in for that matter. I believe riba is still a must with geno 3 and moderate damage and extension. Em
