Damn! Dental pain is the worst, and on a weekend too. Seems like a universal law, no matter what part of the world we’re in.
Hang in there mermaid. Keeping you in my thoughts! Glad you got that colonoscopy, and are urging others to do the same.
Had mine earlier this year, and was thinking I should insist they buy me dinner before the next one, but glad I did it all the same.
Thoughts and prayers, Ariel!
Fitz
10 September 2016 at 9:57 am #22886Oh Ariel you poor Mermaid. Toothache is the absolute pits. I hope those antibiotics move their butts and do their stuff so that the dentist can make the pain go away. Thanks for the timely reminder about the colonoscopy. Hep C is notorious for taking all of the attention. Wishing you a dentist with small hands and a speedy recovery.
10 September 2016 at 12:18 pm #22888Thanks for the love Beaches Fitz and Coral

I’m not cracking jokes today sadly. ick:' />
I lost a massive molar it did have a big abscess
The nurse said it was a whopper abscess
The other tooth has a smaller abscess
It was drilled and some dentist muck put in it. These two were holding a bridge sadly. I’m now in buckets of pain but it should subside and I have a sheet of instructions to follow.
Not really up for SVR24 this week at all.
Overload. But I can always go on Monday next.
Anyway over the past month I have had all scans (except the checkup on my right axial node and boobies) and a colonoscopy and a funeral interstate and now this so yeah maybe I should buy my first ever lottery ticket
Cheers to all, and I hope you are okay, yes HCV can leave strange other issues like teeth, so can the old tx imo.Coral I think of you going again daily and I wanted to say how stoked I am to see your updated signature and you are on meds I wish you success and am backing you to SVR XX

Thanks so much for your thoughts. I am into the second week of my new meds. I’ll post separately once things have settled in. I’m on the Viekira Pak, Ribaviran, and Solvadi. Quite the cocktail with a few more side effects this time round.
Thank goodness that rogue tooth has gone. Take it easy. Xx
13 September 2016 at 11:46 am #22919Good luck, Coral, hope you make it. Those nasty mutants, it’s time they went.

I think another tooth is going today!!
It’s not over til the fat lady sings as they say!
SVR24 is certainly on hold while my chompers are sorted.
Ribavirin I have had myself for 43 weeks
I hope you are okay on it please let us know how you feel and I can recommend Dermaveen wash for the skin if you get the rash. Hoping you don’t but I guess you have been educated about the riba. I’m glad you are on a whopper of a cocktail because it’s all about cure and I will look forward to your news as you fight on to the common goal.
Wishing you the best Coral xxx

Hep C RNA NOT DETECTED”16 September 2016 at 9:14 am #23024Thanks Ariel, Beaches and Matt for your thoughts. I am with my Dad at the moment during his last days as he has nearly lost his battle with prostate cancer. I’m a bit of a mixture of intense sadness and side effects at the moment. I’m staying with family and their job is to remind me to take my medication! Will post about my treatment when I surface from all of this but I enjoy reading everyone’s posts in these quiet waiting times.
16 September 2016 at 10:52 am #23028Oh Coral I am so sorry to hear of your Dad’s struggle…wishing you and your family strength and compassion during this tough time.
YMMV
16 September 2016 at 10:53 am #23029Thinking of you Coral
May peace be with you and yours at the time of passing to the ongoing for your father.
Sending you love xxx
A16 September 2016 at 11:35 am #23031Ah Coral I feel for you!
I lost my Dad to cancer too. Treasure these last days even though they are not fun, and yes, remember to keep taking the meds.
I wish you long life
