According to this article, an Algerian version of Sofosbuvir (“Sofos-400” will soon be available for about 3000 euos.
Apparently, it will be made available for free in Algerian hospitals.
Made by Laboratoires Beker:

(click NOS MÉDICAMENTS; click Gastrologie; scroll to Sofos)
Note: Algeria is one of the countries excluded by Gilead’s “Voluntary Licence” with the Indian generic manufacturers.
Diagnosed Jan 2015: GT3, A0+F0/F1. Fatigue + Brain-Fog.

Pre-Tx: AST 82, ALT 133, Viral Load 1 900 000.
Week4: AST 47, ALT 58. VL < 15 (unquantifiable). Week12 (EOT): AST 30, ALT 26, VL UND Week16 (EOT+4): AST 32, ALT 28, GGT 24, VL UND Week28 (EOT+16): AST 26, ALT 22, GGT 24, VL UND Ever grateful to Dr James. Relapsed somewhere after all that... Bummer! Jan 2018: VL 63 000 (still GT3).26 December 2015 at 10:58 pm #7341Bit pricey V. One could travel to India or Bangladesh (probably in business class) and pick up a combo treatment for less than that. But it’s another option, and that’s good.
26 December 2015 at 11:41 pm #7342Yes, certainly a bit pricey compared to the other options now available.
Still, I posted it in case there is anyone on the forum from Algeria (lucky you!) or in case anyone has family there…
… And also to show that Gilead’s stranglehold on the world market just got loosened by another notch.
Cheers,

I hear that Roche is behind it. They’ll pay for the Sofos so their interferon will be used for a while.

I just saw your message.
Indeed Beker has launched Sofos as well as Sofosled, respectively generic of Sovaldi & Sofosbuvir+Ledispavir.
They have launched a plateform for non algerian to have access to the treatment : look at http://www.bekerhepc.com
There is all the information about both products.Algerians have universal healthcare therefore for algerian patients it is accessible through hospitals.
Hope it helps

I think there is a few countries that have stocks of Interferon to use up, come to think of it the pharmas probably dumped some interferon onto countries at bargain prices.
Two time relapser.
SVR 4 achieved 12/16 at last
SVR 12 achieved 22/02/2017 The Bastard has been defeatedGT 3 – about 28 yrs with HCV
19 May 2016 at 3:49 am #17469Although the prices are higher than other options it’s good to see the idea of access by personal importation starting to take root.
YMMV
19 May 2016 at 4:03 am #17471is it a unlicensed version? is expensive
19 May 2016 at 12:01 pm #17492That’s true, it is good to see that there are some other options.
However i verified the price on their website bekerhepc.com
Sofos (Soofosbuvir) is at USD400 the box, so 1200 for the treatment
Sofosled (Sofosbuvir + ledispavir) is at USD600, 1800 for the treatment. In Algeria what differes is as the country is not part of the WTO to be protected Gilead should have submitted its patent for protection to the MOH & MOT in Algeria therefore it gave the opportunity to the lab to do the generics.
I’d recommend you to check their FAQ for other questions, as i’d rather not talk on their behalf.rgds
19 May 2016 at 2:56 pm #17502[strike]Sorry that I have to be a stickler for details but …. we need to vet this site. This domain is “bekerhepc.com” not “bekerlaboratoires.com”.
If you click on the “Beker” tab there are two links which suggest you’ll be taken to the actual Beker site … neither link works.
If you click the “Contact” tab you are given a physical address, an email address that does, in fact, use the bekerlaboratoires.com domain … sales.int@bekerlaboratoires.com … but most people would instead use the “fill-in-the-blanks” contact form.
On the actual Beker site there is no mention of the sof/led combo, Sofosled.
Anybody got time to do this?
Edit: Google gives me two other references to the site …here

Per klhilde’s comments above please note that this supplier is not currently a verified supplier. We await further information from them and will up date this thread once that is received and confirmed.
EDIT: The link in Chiraz’s original post above to http://www.bekerhepc.com has been verified as part of Beker Laboratoire and has now been reinstated.
