    I gave him all the printouts from this site – genotype recommendations, GP Cheat Sheet etc. His DR said she won’t do anything because it’s ‘illegal’! He’s been waiting all year to get into the public Liver clinic and appointment isn’t until May 2016 – useless!

    We could see him online and get him ready for 1 march, then prescribe the appropriate meds and crack on…..

    I know it is happening, but it still strikes me as surreal that in just over a month GPs in Australia are going to be able to write prescriptions for Harvoni for all who need it, and it will be supplied by the health service. I’m not dreaming, am I?

    Meanwhile in the rest of the world, the need for the meds is still a bottomless pit. How did that happen? I mean, I know how, but still. Hard to shake a feeling of unreality about it all. Maybe it is just my meds playing with my head :S

    Yes it does seem surreal doesn’t it dt? I hope we’re not dreaming and that it all works out to be the godsend it appears to be, setting a new standard for western governments in negotiation with Big Pharma. As for the infected masses in the rest of the world, may competition or compassion make the cures accessible to all.
