26 November 2016 at 1:15 pm #24491Word travelled across the Mermaid ocean that Fitz my friend had reached the milestone, and made it through the turbulent sea, to claim his stake free from HepC.
At SVR12 I send great cheer, for you, who has lent us all your ear; your kindness has been steadfast and true, and blessings have come now for you.
My friend I am so pleased to read your news and wish you only sunny views
I’m truly stoked for you it’s trueSending you my best
Love and humungous splashes from Ariel26 November 2016 at 9:34 pm #24496Thanks so much my friend. What a beautiful poem, and a beautiful heart.
I know you’re going through a rough patch at the moment with trips to and from the hospital, and barely have time to catch a breath. That you took the time to write such a beautiful verse means more than you know.
You’ve survived two courses of of interferon, gotten back on your feet, and fought like a champion to beat Hep C, and to be be there for your child. Together you will get through this too.
Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you always.
Your true friend,
Fitz

Just received the following message from my gastroenterologist.
“Dear *****
As you may have seen, your test results are back and are normal.
There is no detectable virus in your blood. This is SVR12 and a cure. Congratulations!Hope you have a happy thanksgiving.”
What an awesome, awesome surprise.
SVR12 baby, yeah!!!
Once again, heartfelt thanks, and gratitude to Dr. Freeman, Dr. Debasis, my US gastroenterologist who courageously stuck her neck out to follow my treatment, and to my friends and family here at FixHepC, without whom this would have been a very lonely, very frightening journey.
Fitz – That is one framable letter. A framed letter that you can put in your private room and go in there when life throws you a curve ball and say, fuck everything else I’m cured!!!
The trials and tribulations of fighting this monster came down to knowing the right people and having the balls to follow through with the plan, you did both. A true life changing experience comes around once-twice in a life time I know your feet are up on the table with a soundless smile, yes you deserve that.
I m so proud for you….I also wish you the very best life has to offer and may God be with you forever.

30 November 2016 at 11:04 pm #24537Thank you Coral!
Looks like you are close to three months into re-treatment yourself now, and I’m sending prayers good vibes your way. I just know you’ll whip it!
After learning through a message from my specialist last week that SVR12 and a cure had been confirmed, I just received the official test results by email this morning. Somehow seeing the results in black and white still seems a bit surreal, but there they are – 12 weeks after EOT, no HCV.
Honestly, after failing to clear once (Interferon), I was skeptical that I could be healed. Seeing is believing.
Test result: 21 November, 2016
1 December 2016 at 5:52 am #24543You better believe it Fitz! Aren’t they just the sweetest words!
Thanks for your good vibes – yes I’m three months in all going well so far so I am realistically optimistic.

Wow, such a incredible thing to view. I agree hearing it is one thing but seeing it is more real . People in general love to see things in the so-called: on paper, in black and white etc as perception is not 100% reality but it sure makes it more real.
Proud for you man, just proud.
