Hello all,
I have noted that a lot of us have a ” funny taste” from the meds as a side effect. Would any of you also describe that as having a kind of fizzy or effervescent quality? I mention this because early on in tx I had a chemically kind of taste in my mouth that was also kind of fizzy. Lately the fizziness i sometimes feel throughout my whole body. That got me thinking about those who felt as if their cell phone was in their pocket and set to vibrate. Any other fizzy/vibrating/effervescent people out there?

Thank you Dr. James29 February 2016 at 3:41 am #12959Hi there Ken, my teeth are sensitive, and I do not like the sharp bitey feeling on my mouth now of any foods like strawberries, apricots, and many acidy things in my mouth during sof/led. Gums are sensitive, just use a floss and mouthwash more than a toothbrush it works for me, also a build up of tartar has been another thing. But no fizzy body here! At least the gum mouth thing isn’t as bad as it was on peg/inf…just changed my oral care regime and watch out for any food.
Splashes of fizzies to ya! Ariel29 February 2016 at 3:44 am #12960Hi Ken
I am one of those fizzy/vibrating/effervescent people! I have only noticed this recently in wk 11 predominately in the right side of my body. I had previously noted this pre Tx but on the left side. I haven’t experienced a ‘funny taste’ however! Interesting!
