    Hi All,

Thanks to the work of everyone here the word about generics is spreading. Depending on which source you use there are 193, 195 or 197 countries in the world.

Google thinks there are more because according to Google Analytics we have now had visitors from 196 different countries and there are still 6 gaps in Western and Central Africa.

In Australia fully 25% of people with HCV have visited this site which, for such an isolated group, is pretty amazing when you think about it.

I was talking with rohcvfighter about it as he lamented how hard it is to move the established status quo and to my mind what we are doing is sowing the seeds of a generic revolution that will apply people power pricing pressure on Big Pharma. While government could do it at the stroke of a pen we all know that’s not going to happen any time soon. Every one of us has the power to sow a few seeds. The SVR results that continue to flow in water those seeds, and I hope, that with your help, we will all live to see something worthwhile grow as the months pass into years.

When MSF sponsored the HIV generic trial that was reported in the Lancet in 2004 there were only a relative handful of people taking generic HIV medications. Now, 12 years later 50% of the 35 million patients are taking effective treatment.

… where by “lamenting” it is to be understood “talking about the facts happening in the real life” and by no means “squeezing the brain of dr. Freeman or baby crying” (or at least I hope I am not doing this <img style=illy:' /> ).
(@Dr. F. – I read properly your message and in a constructive way :+1: – reading your post today made me very happy, thank you !)

I continue to believe that Life and Health are by far more important than the Intellectual Property (which has of course a high level of importance, but not so high as being healthy and alive). A big issue at the moment is that many people cannot (yet) make a proper differentiation.

    Remember this guy?
    truth.jpg
Even though he was not aware at that time about HCV, what he says applies perfectly to the context of truth related to HCV generics.

    cheers,
    RHF

In fiecare an HCV ucide peste 500000 oameni.Medicamentele generice pentru hepatita C functioneaza. Nu deveni statistica! Cauta pe Google “medicamente generice pentru hepatita C”.
HCV kills more than 500000 people every year. HCV generic drugs work. Don’t become a statistic.

Great Job to you too Dr. Freeman!! If we didn’t have you at the helm this whole generic HepC drugs idea, wouldn’t have even come about. The only thing I can suggest is for this website to open a small store. That way you could sell fixhepC stickers and other items, maybe even T-Shirts. The sales would not be for cash flow at all. It would simply be a way to advertise. That way, I could buy some stickers and stick them throughout Sacramento b/c I know where many of the HepC patients hang out. ~Respectfully

James Freeman that is marvellous for you.
I’m a big fan of Mambo.
How awesome to have ‘Reg’ do artwork for FHC James
The Mambo story is a collective of artists founded by Dare Jennings who merge surf, politics and social commentary. They commenced in the late 1980s in Sydney. Reg is a stage name. His real name is Chris. This is well known. I am not disclosing anything secret.

He was a founding member of the band Mental as Anything.

Reg features dogs in his artwork so much that it could be said it’s his archetype. Most Aussies identity the farting dog image. I’m unable to post images on FHC since oh about six weeks so I can’t pop up that to show y’all what it looks like but it’s iconic.

He formed a band post Mentals with his brother it has a dog title too, ‘Dog Trumpet’

Mambo is all over my house and car. I’m a massive collector since around 1992 way back when the art was $30 a piece. I hope you don’t mind me popping up a snatch of history and context re this image.
It’s quite a wonderful thing to have Mr M do art specifically for you.
His original “loud” T shirts sell for a fortune I do know, I sold two of my original “doggie style” ( real name) when I had to quit work and keep paying school fees, but kept most of my old loud surf shirts. Only sold the opera house one. To those friends who think that this is interesting and haven’t heard of Mambo or Reg Mombassa or Mental as Anything there would be heaps on the Internet that will tell you more than this brief post
Take care all, just a quick hello from me due to my high interest in the artist.
Congrats to Dr J for sourcing such amazing graphics from a true master.
