I was reading some days ago an article about a certain drug that is still in R&D and which can revert fibrosis scar tissue into normal tissue.

I need search for it, but it was somehow similar with this one:

That would really be the 1-2 punch. Cure Hep C, and reverse liver damage!

Hi Fitz,

here are couple of articles about reverting cirrhosis that I’ve been reading.
Some of the medical terms confused me, so I am no longer sure if any of the drugs galectin or simtuzumab will apply to the cirrhosis caused by HCV or to the cirrhosis caused by other factors:

Hey Fitz – I hope your journey continues smooth with few side effects. Its good that they caught the Mel before it dug it’s heals in, the scar will heal and plastic surgeons are incredible in making it disappear. That being said and by the it looks you may not need it! They did a great job stitching it back initially.
