Hello All,
I’m a very worried man. You’ll see from my profile below that I finished 24 weeks of treatment with Sof/Dac in February this year for G3. I had SVR 12 and 24 but about 10 days ago I began to get symptoms I associate with hepc again: Tiredness and nausea. I saw my GP who prescribed omeprazole which has helped and last weekend I allowed myself 2 glasses of red wine. The result was a terrible hangover. I thought it might be that it was a particular response to red and last night drank 2 glasses of white. Got a bad hangover again though not so extreme.
I had a blood test this morning , including LFT’s and will get the result next week but I think I know there’s a problem.
Gloom.

26 May 2017 at 12:50 am #26179LFT’s come back quickly and should reassure you. SVR 24 is secure. It is way, way more probable to be something else than relapse. All the best RSF.

26 May 2017 at 8:03 am #26182Hi rightsaidfred, As the others say, at this stage it’s virtually certain to be something other than HVC that is taking you low. Hope you can get your results back soon.

Diagnosed HVnon-A non-B 1980s, revised to HVC 1990’s.

28 May 2017 at 10:16 am #26200Hi Sven and Coral,
I am actually not feeling very well – pains around the lower ribs on the right and waking with slight nausea – I suppose it could all relate to anxiety and certainly hope so but I’ll get the LFT results next week and all will be revealed.
Thanks both for your support and good wishes,
RSF

31 May 2017 at 12:19 am #26226Hello all,
False alarm! Got my LFT’s back today and they’re fine. I still don’t understand the hangovers but suppose the rest was attributable to anxiety.
Mightily relieved and thankful for all the support and encouragement.
In my next incarnation I WILL NOT BE A DRAMA QUEEN.

7/07/16 UND SVR 2412 June 2017 at 1:54 pm #26392Hello All,
Well now I’m not so sure and neither is my GP: Tried 2 glasses of wine again about 10 days ago – result was a nasty hangover. This is how it all started for me a couple of years ago – made me aware that I had a problem.
Anyway, I had a viral load test last Wednesday and the results are not back yet. They usually take 10 days to 2 weeks. So it is an anxious time again.
Thanks to you all for all the good wishes.
