Hello, in Sydney mozzie season is fading but a few have been activated by the warm weather. I find they hate air turbulence and a small fan aimed at my head a short distance away works well. Deet for bedtime protection sounds awful, the other standby is a mosquito net !! To watch TV, inside in general – they are not attracted to light colours and I have some old long socks as I my ankles feet seem to be fave targets.

    Hello ,
I have been very wakeful and energised around midnight and eg now near 3 and still feel awake, after sof/led. Try to restrict my tv / computer time but not strict enough with myself. if possible i would sleep to midday and go with it but wonder if anyone else has sleep cycle out of wack.
Great so many are UND. I cannot afford the path to check if now UND.
Thank you peeps taking time to write on here.

a late return to my earlier logon name, Great advice and I am using it for itchy skin, diluted as an after shower rinse.

Thank you for your post – earlier I was bamboozled by the acronyms and jargon…lost track of my posts and talked about the reflux issue recently, similar info from me – now Annasnow

    Hi Gaj
I had not seen that entry on here – only last night I saw how the forum worked…a bit daunting for a naive user. I get a Medscape feed and laboriously copy n pasted it to put on here. I thought the post treatment care was also of great interest.
I am very chuffed the Good Doctor is presenting and presumably a standing ovation will greet him from his peers – it is like Robin Hood and bigPh. Would have got an EOT stat if I had known this was happening – at least he has my UND from 4 weeks. I meant our stats on generics by ‘us mob’ – we have our lives fed into his presentation that may really change some unjust aspects re treatment. The anarchist side of me was thrilled to circumvent the formal treatment system.
Cheers and many thanks to all on this marvellous information and support ship.

Hi Jeff, I was so burdened with it mentally, paranoid about it, it cramped my sense of viability in any dating situation and gave me many issues fog, fatigue, digestion, low immune system, etc To be free of it is a gift of a new life and a fresher mind clarity – the challenge is to find a simpler test to identify it and eradicate it. All the best, A

Pat, so beautifully put, It is like a new start at your life that, for me was in fog and on hold…hope I keep the new clarity. Perhaps a relationship without the shadow in the cupboard. Once I get to tame my sleeping too I will be better. It has been a strange shift.
    All the best A.

Hello, I am 4 days after EOT and I am fairly itchy , in ears scalp …also have had toe tinea crop up . I have had it before but ever only left foot just between a few toes – this time both feet and this morning very severe pain in toes woke me up at 6am. I googled like crazy for more clues to cure it and my itchy dry feeling skin, for feet alternating cream and tea tree oil. Vinegar rinse and hair dryer drying, 1/2 cotton balls between the toes to keep the area dry. That rash hates a dry environment. My mum used to rub between toes with metho and then talcum powder – a home prevention I should have copied. But seeing this post and Dr James’ I thought what I have might be connected to the meds. 5 months is a long time after the meds and I am sorry to hear about your experience. I am buying a large bottle of apple cider vinegar and using it, diluted as an after shower rinse all over, not using soap, getting epsom salts to mix with sea salt for the bath or foot bath. The vinegar changes the ph of the skin. My immune system needs a rebuild now…
Hope the rash has gone !

I’ve been off tea and coffee the whole time and still am, trying to not anger the reflux dragon. Slept propped up with pillows and googled ‘low reflux diet, low GERD…etc somewhat helped and trust my peppy acid gave the meds a boost to work. I used Gaviscon (regular Aniseed flavour) when necessary – used about 2/3rds of a 500ml bottle over the 12 weeks. I am hoping to stay off the PPI’s !

Thanks Mike for being a constant help. Congratulations and #woohoo!
I celebrated end of 12 weeks of pills with a white wine, much enjoyed and a light ale…I don’t know whether to test viral load now and again in 12 weeks or just wait the next 12 weeks and get it done. I was nil at 4 weeks.

My next issue is getting the poor old organ as good as it can be again, detoxing from the meds – anyone try saunas? and apparently milk thistle is a terrific help in all things liver.
Gratitude to all on here !
