That is such fabulous news. What shocking behaviour from your doctor but a great outcome for you.
I was a slow responder but never lost faith that I’d kick it in the end. Well done you!Coral
18 May 2016 at 11:31 am #17396Hey all, I’m not opening a new thread, but if I would, it would say something like “Hope’s reached EOT”.
It’s been quite a ride for me. Only last 3 weeks were a bit easier.
Now I have a perfect blood picture, I’m hepC free and I’m REALLY hoping it stays like that. So it mos def was worth the troubles!
Hitting some alcohol, garlic, mangos and fresh orange juice now
Thank you all for caring and turning the world in to a beter place!
Forever grateful to Gregg and Dr.Freeman

I also have high glucose which I never had before…apart from my high level of iron. Anybody else got this?
I’m on a low carb diet, my intake of sugar is low, and I drink plenty of water…[/i]
Hi Hope
My fasting glucose level has shot up to 11.9 … unfortunately, it wasn’t tested immediately prior to treatment … the last time it was tested, in 2012, it was 6.2 and then 6.0.
I too am on a low carb diet, drink plenty of water … and I exercise every morning.
I was wondering if the increase in blood sugar affected your treatment? Also, how long did it stay high?
At first I was pretty worried about it. However, I’m feeling really good, and feeling better as time passes, with no side effects. So, I’m hoping that the raised blood sugar may only be temporary while on treatment.

I didn’t worry that much about it and it passed… worried more about high iron but that passed too. Funny thing is that usually iron is not monitored during hcv tests so I’d say manny might have it high but don’t even know.
Monitor it and hope it’s gone soonthank you for all your wishes folks…a lot of beautiful ppl here
