Thank-you Tim, Dr Debasis @ MonkMed & Dr Freeman @ Fix HepC27 January 2016 at 3:12 am #10491Hi Dan,
Please don’t worry, your continually improving ALT says that the treatment is working. As I said before, the scratching from excema won’t be re infecting you as long as you are practicing good hygiene.
Your 4 week results showedless than 12 but they just can’t accurately measure that low, it could be 1 or even 0.1.
But remember what Enkel has posted previously, also Dr James and even Gilead’s trials show some people do not reach UND during treatment but most who are <12 at EOT go on to be UND at SVR12.http://fixhepc.com/forum/viral-load-and-svr/570-detected-at-eot-virus-may-be-uninfectious.html
I'm sure you will be fine so relax and don't stress yourself over having results that are still very good and continuing to head in the right direction.

I just want make sure that I’m on the right path. Not a lot of stories have tx problems, hence my additional worry.

8 weeks UND, 12 week UND, 24 week SVR UND27 January 2016 at 4:22 am #10501Dan, I would not worry. Everyone progresses differently. Enkel was undetected at 2 weeks on Twinvir, and his story actually encouraged me to want Twinvir. Undetected at 2 weeks is the best result I have read on this forum! CJ was VL 37 after one week, down from 2 million!
Twinvir was tested, it is a Harvoni copy just like the others. Incepta is a big, quality company. I am sure there is nothing wrong with Twinvir. I feel like it is working. Have faith brother!
27 January 2016 at 5:32 am #10512Dan if you recall at week 6 my VL came back at 17 like you I felt quite deflated as like
you I was reading everyone’s stories of UD at week 2.If you recall, I also posted information pertaining to Gilead and VL which says quite clearly
if you reach EOT and are still detected you’ve not failed. In my case, I did my next VL at week 10 it came back UD, I became UD between week
6 and 10 it could have being week 8!Em, the Mod here also only became UD at I think about week 7/8 so you’re not alone.
Dan, I looked at your stats, I know of no G1B whom have failed this treatment we are the easiest
group to treat.Due to my late blood word, the advise I received prior ( If it came back detected) was to continue treatment
I went through redemption and bought 12 weeks of Harvoni from Cipla.Though, I am UD I am doing an extra four weeks if i did not have the Med’s on hand Id have
finished in Jan 21 there is no way I am doing an extra 12 it makes no sense.PS. If it comes to extra treatment if you want I can arrange something with the extra 8 weeks I have and don’t need.

Sir – I sent you a private message.
You are all correct, that looking at the others VL brings me down. I need to keep going and hope for the best.
At the same time plan for treatment extention, due to the late response, to make sure I’m clear. It is difficult to take and stop the treatment at 12 weeks and not achieving UND.
On NHS my treatment would have stopped today at 8 weeks .

Thank-you Tim, Dr Debasis @ MonkMed & Dr Freeman @ Fix HepC27 January 2016 at 11:47 am #10546Hi Dan,
Your LFT improved constantly during tx. You are on the right way. I am sure the VL will come after.
We are not alone in this club, of slow responder. I think is related also with age. Sorry for my question, your age is?In my case, I will finish the 12 weeks of tx. Hope I am not one of those 2-4%. Hey, we are GT 1b, easy to treat, no one have failed the DAA tx.
But if it so, now there are other options, like SOF+DAC or SOF+DAC+SIM and other licensed Indian generics. It will cost extra money, it will be hard, but there are good alternatives.
Hope the best for your 8 week VL. And for mine too.

Hi Dan,
For the moment I have in mind Dr. James patient VL example:
”To reassure you here are some real results from a patient of mine…
Week 0 7.8 million
Week 4 76
Week 5.5 < 15 Week 8 0 Week 12 0 SVR 4 0 SVR 12 0'' I have hope that my VL will have the same drop to UND! If not UND at least < Lower Limit of Quantification (LLOQ), like in official trials.
Anyway, my viral load has dropped constantly during tx.
So, I think that I am still in the right direction towards cure, the desired SVR 4/12 !Yes, in this moment of tx, I am convinced that 12 weeks are enough for me!
Best wishes and UND soon!
