Look at us “old timers”/ graduates of Dr. Freeman’s 12 week miracle cure party. Now as we become cured, we move onto some higher plane of consciousness? from waiting to get cured, to being in the process of getting cured, to being cured, to …..?????

3 March 2016 at 10:12 am #13149Hey everyone
No further news this end still feel amazing. Just received a bill from my last blood test which is unusual here in Australia. Anyone else being asked to pay for pathology services as part of ongoing tx and post tx?? No drama however I’ve never been asked to pay for any testing prior to the last one?
Hey 2b, old timers for sure mate. But I now have a spring in my step, energy to burn and lead in the pencil lol. Em

5 March 2016 at 3:47 am #13325Hi Em,
Under Medicare we can get 2 x quantitative and 4 x qualitative per patient, per year. I guess we must have hit one of those limits. I did not think we had.
YMMV
5 March 2016 at 4:09 am #13329I also received a bill for my last test, maybe they have new rules now?

Too late to sign current petition I guess? but would still like to know what the go is. Thx.Here is the link, no not too late to sign, all Aussies sign away. My bestie surf mermaid buddy is a path nurse and this going to be a nuisance. She explained to me the issues she sees, and of course we all see the big picture, less people going in for path etc means less diagnosis of all sorts of things, more hospitals groaning with patients, more lives being cost…just not a good situation. I think that the elderly, single parents, and may I as a mum of two of these… tertiary students are sorely affected here, it is hard enough for them to afford doc visits and they do need to be extra vigilant with health check after all we were all young once…who can remember I have real concern that the younger gen will avoid testing just because of finances…
I get the budget agenda here, but why not just adjust the tax threshold of the medicare levy rather than do this dodgy stuff? Oh well politics aside….Here is the link: http://www.dontkillbulkbill.com/
14 March 2016 at 5:02 am #13783Thanks everyone
I guess I’m happy to pay $70 for an UND any day of the week lol. Yep I’m thinking I must have gone over due to clinch with a test at week 6, apparently they didn’t draw enough blood and I doubled up on one of my pathology referrals? And yes it is a sign of the times with our revised system.
