Curve ball Fitz! seems like it should be forbidden to have to deal with another health issue while on treatment. Best wishes with it, tell him you are not after the Michael Jackson look.

Nooooo – I do not want a Michael Jackson nose.
28 June 2016 at 2:18 am #20014I had an invasive BCC taken off my back a few years ago but I’m hesitant to point the finger at HCV.
There was an existing mole since forever just where the bra hooks are and I put it down to years of irritation.
Plus I’m an Aussie and there aren’t many of us who don’t end up with some kind of skin cancerhttps://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rc5G04nJecI

Beaches – I didn’t see this until now. I too am grateful to Fitz for letting us steal a bit of his topic and will thank him now for letting us, thank you Fitz.
My meds hav just entered customs, and I am thankful so here is hoping for a safe journey to my house.
I have heard the side effects are negotiable for the most part, things that can be tolerated and of course some where they were not, but mostly are not bad. I did not here the constipation though so I will be aware of that and deal with it as it comes. I will just move forward and take it as it comes and hopefully it will provide more clarity, energy and hope that all will be done soon. I’ll, as you said, will enjoy the journey and I hope and pray this will be done forever and I’ll live to tell about it.
Thank you my Viking sister, you hit it right on!

Hope you got this humour, the meaning may get lost in translation.

Cured!3 July 2016 at 11:56 pm #20403Facebook isn’t for everyone. Opened an account to participate in a FB Hep C support group. Too much hostage taking and bullshit politics there for me. Deleted the account today and won’t look back.
Labs and MOHS surgery this week. Will update when results are available.
4 July 2016 at 12:52 am #20412I agree, FB is not for everyone and certainly not for me.
MOHS surgery, please elaborate if you can.
Thx

Cured!4 July 2016 at 2:43 pm #20443Mohs surgery is where you have a skin cancer in a cosmetic area where there is not much spare skin.
Normally we cut out the cancer and a good margin of normal tissue around it to make sure we get it all.
With Mohs you cut out a bit and then a pathologist looks at it. If there is cancer at the edge we cut out more. Repeat until no cancer seen.
Now fix the hole….
YMMV
4 July 2016 at 8:36 pm #20455Thank you for the very concise and very accurate description, Dr James. As usual, you have managed to outline the procedure in a few efficient and well written sentences.
Blueberries:
Brain farts are back, although fewer and farther between, as are the emotional ups and downs, although less intense.
Yesterday as my wife and I were grocery shopping, and I was putting packages of blueberries in the shopping cart, a woman came up to the island where the blueberries were, and began opening the packages and pawing through the blueberries with her fingers. Normally I would say nothing – but I snapped at her “Don’t paw through those blueberries, they’ll get mold on them!” True, but not in character at all for me. I have decided not to post for a couple of days. I need to get some work done (actually had a dream about it), and need to let the feelings, and peevishness resolve a bit. Last night I made sure to wash the blueberries extra thoroughly!
4 July 2016 at 10:59 pm #20473Fitz you having motivation to do this treatment motivates me and many others, thank you.
You are doing great and I/we like to read your posts so you can help us navigate our own ocean so to speak. Thank you again big time and please don’t stop posting we all need to hear from you each day maybe 1-2 posts a day. Your are a lot of people’s motivation.Sven Edited:
Fitz – What I meant was if you can post please do so as it is motivation to many people who follow you. You inspire me and to read your posts is a daily event for me. However please take the R&R when the body tells you to do so. Thanks man I hope I came accross right.
