Hi Everyone
Great News Today … I finally got back by week 4 Vial Load Test.
All of my week 4 tests results are back now. I was thrown a curve ball initially with an unexpected high fasting glucose level. It concerned me and I was worried it may have adverse effects on the efficacy of the SOF + DCV. I was feeling confident prior to this.
I was also feeling the pressure of not letting the GT2 team down …especially considering that I had the audacity to call myself GT2 and Dr Freeman stated that he has 100% for SOF + DCV in GT2 so far.
Anyway, I can happily say that I haven’t ruined the batting average. Dr Freeman, you still have a perfect strike rate. I know I’m only on first base, but I’m confident of making it home to SVR12. Thanks Greg Jefferys for taking the time to explain all of my treatment options, considering your busy schedule at the time, and then making the rest of the process a breeze. I will always be internally grateful to you and Dr Freeman. This has changed my life!

Actually that slab you posted is a good metaphor for interferon erghhhh. I would defs wipe out and I did on peginf lol!!
Have a look at my avatar that’s a couple of weeks ago we are just getting swell after swell in Vicco.
Hey, Tasmania….. If you are in Hobart head down to Shippies because the fellas are towing there like huge waves
I’m fascinated by tow in surfing it’s another league and they seriously risk their lives have a listen to Ross Clarke Jones on it or Greg Noll of course
See what’s happening GT2 once I am wound up on surf I cannot stop! Argh
Anyhoo the thing is how much can you take in wiping out? Surfer Today explains it:” Big waves are surely heavy. If you want to get an overall weight for your specific wave, you can roughly memorize that a cubic meter of water (1000 liters) weighs one metric tonne (1000 kilograms). How about that?
Example: a 33-foot (10-meter) wave with a falling lip that is 66-feet (20-meters) wide will mean that, if you wipeout, you’ll feel the equivalent of 410 tonnes (410000 kilograms) over your body. That’s the weight of 488 Volkswagen Beetles (1967 model)!
Another example from the average surfer’s perspective: imagine a 20-inch (50 centimeter) thick wave lip, only 3.2 feet wide, in a summer three-foot wave. Total weight? A solid 500 kilograms (1100 pounds).”
My preference is 3-6 foot and they are more than capable of holding me down if the swell period is over 14 seconds! I don’t wipe out much but I feel it when I do
Love the pic GT2Ariel
Hope this next doesn’t offend anyone…

I was initially given the old curve ball trick … and I missed it by that much … KAOS called me in the first time to tell me the bad news, let me dwell on it for a few days, and then called me back for the good news. I’m just happy they didn’t use the cone of silence.

Great cartoon!
Sometimes our so called “democracy” feels like a dictatorship … especially when the tail wags the dog to such an extent that big Phama dictates to governments and then avoids paying its fair share of corporate tax by funnelling the majority of their profits into low taxed countries, like Ireland (12.5%).
I hope that you are sailing through your first few days of treatment.
Best Wishes

I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart, and the other GT2s on this forum who have taken SOF + DCV, for giving me the confidence to step up to the plate and have an almighty swing at this difficult to hit HCV virus. I noticed that you, and the others, hit it well out of the park first time and every time. Based on that, I decided to join your team (sorry about the self invite …
If it wasn’t for you guys, like a blind fool, I would have followed the standard GT2 recommendation of SOF + RBA and probably been sick as a dog for 3 months or so. I really think that the “experts” who make these recommendations need to urgently reconsider their GT2 guidance.
I really don’t deserve being promoted up the batting order … I’m just happy backing up all the GT2s before me … I’m merely standing on the shoulders of giants. Thanks guys!
Cheers

To answer your earlier question, I was told this arvo that the massive waves posted above and below were breaking only 200 meters out from the beach at Walpole, Western Australia.
Been for a surf today?
Cheers
