It is an exciting time waiting for the medicine, I was often standing at my mailbox and had to check myself to stop doing that ha! I burst into tears when they arrived…it was like a miracle had happened. I wish I had found this place earlier but no regrets, only looking forward now. As others say, this site is a refuge, a support and a place where you can say as much or as little as you feel. Sometimes I just read others stories and check up on Dr James’s posts rather than write out how I am doing, or just go over to the music party we have and listen to all the great music that people post from YouTube. Wishing you a great tx, a positive outcome and welcome from Ariel in Australia. I love your beautiful snowy picture.28 January 2016 at 4:23 pm #10673Hi P,
Welcome!
Glad you found us.
Waiting is hard, buts its almost over.
Good luck!

29 January 2016 at 11:53 pm #10751Things are moving in the right direction
Yesterday I met up with a new specialist and had a great experience. He did two rounds of Fibroscan, but no results high enough for putting in a new application for meds from NHS. Then I told him that I was waiting for generic medication organised through FixHepC buyers club. He was quite excited about this, as he had heard of buyers clubs but didn´t know of any patients that had tried it in Norway. He was very supportive about my choice and agreed to let me be followed by the hospital during treatment. As he said “you´ll take the medicines anyway, and it would be unethical not to follow you during treatment”.
I let him have a copy of the concent form from the Redemption trial and told him that he could let other patients curios about genercis contact me. Interesting to see if others will follow.
He also confirmed that once the meds arrive I can start taking them and that there is no danger associated with taking sof/led. I got an updated VL above 9000 and my others results seemed fine.
Today I recieved the tracker code from monkmed and my meds are on their way from India Keeping fingers crossed they will get trhough customs without any trouble. Must say I´m very impressed with how well organised the Redemption operation is. Both monkmed and fixhepC reply to e-mails quickly and give good info all the way.
It´s been a good week

The waiting is the hardest, each morning, noon and night I’d check for the tracking number in my inbox. For me no tracking numbers ever arrived- just the meds. First Ribavirin then a week later the others.
I almost cried!
I wish you well in your journey.

geno 1a30 January 2016 at 2:24 am #10760Hey Paulino – That’s great news
So pleased to read of your consultants response too – I have at last found a great consultant who is supporting me this way too – It really does help to restore the faith doesn’t it and
it would be unethical not to follow you during treatment
seems to be the magic phrase that Drs who genuinely care about their patients wellbeing are using to help get their patients ‘duty of care’ – Good for him.
MonkMed are so organised regarding the tracking and keeping in touch, although a little nervous, I also found it kind of fun watching my little package make its way across the world, In fact Debs and I were having a little race !
Today I received the tracker code from monkmed and my meds are on their way from India
– Mine took 4 days – Customs no problem, as you know.
Delighted for you Paulino. Yep MonkMed &FixHepC definitely rock !

I had a very bad experience with online services and goods, I am twice shy (as you may understand). Please let me know your views on this. I really need the medication and won’t like to see myself as a victim of my choice to buy or not buy.
I am not a rich man to spend US$ 1,600 for false hope.
Thanks for your reply
30 January 2016 at 3:17 pm #10819I can personally vouch for Monkmed as being totally reliable, a great service and they even go the extra mile beyond the call of duty in their care of patients / buyers. After all, Dr Freeman is partnered with them for Redemption Trials. I haven’t read one bad thing about MonkMed unless maybe someone who wishes to discredit them somehow, but I haven’t even read anything like that.
Hope this helps.
ps you can see my progress so far from their meds in my profile below my post

Thank-you Tim, Dr Debasis @ MonkMed & Dr Freeman @ Fix HepC30 January 2016 at 3:33 pm #10820Hi G,
MonkMed is the Real Deal. You can email me at the below address if you like. There are several really good options right now.
Shams and scams don’t survive here.
Other than me, there’s too many very smart and very wary people here for them to practice their vile sport.
Good Luck!

This may also give you additional confidence in Monkmed. It is the U.S. govt’s NIH listing of the Redemption trials.
https://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT02657694?term=redemption&rank=1
FixHepC is the sponsor and Monkmed is effectively the international coordinator.

it was in London within the week. They are excellent in communicating with you as you go through the process I honestly can’t
say enough good things about them.FixHepC uses Monk Med to process the orders you have nothing to worry about.
Order and get well.
I have also bought from FixhepC before the trials I had to extend treatment.
