Is it possible to get some kind of temporary postal address in Romania, such as a PO Box? It’d be a much quicker and cheaper journey than India, surely?
17 December 2015 at 10:19 pm #6567I doubt that I as a foreign citizen can open postal address in Romania, but it is worth checking.

Ask parvez on this forum for his contact info. Or go to the Incepta page in the Pharma’s Market section and find Parvez’s official email at incepta and ask him for that shipper’s contact info by email.
Also … a Guest came into the chat room a while ago and said he received an order from Beacon to Italy. Took him ten days total from order and money transfer to arrival of meds …. and the price including shipping for Sof and Dac was only $850.

Edit: You shouldn’t need to create a new postal address/account … you could simply have the package sent to your hotel or rent a temporary apartment for a day or two, or have a friend receive it for you.
There should be postal services that can hold a package for you as well … Fedex can do this in the US.
29 December 2015 at 11:29 pm #7496Well, I’ve decided to fly to Delhi and get the medications personally.
Return ticket Belgrade-Delhi is around 600EUR, trip lasting about 10hrs with one quick stop in Abu Dhabi. Reserved nice little hotel in a part of city called Paharganj, and will stay for 5 days.
Decision to travel was easy, this might be one in a lifetime opportunity to visit India, and I love their culture and food.
So far I got couple of offerings for 12 weeks supply of Ledifos from Bullpharmachem (1200USD) and Gandhi medicos (1050USD), I’ve heard both are trusted sources.
I was thinking to maybe do a fibroscan test as in Delhi cos I’ve heard it is not expensive so if anyone knows good clinic in Delhi pls reply.

M, 57, Live in Wellington,NZ.
Genotype 1a diagnosed in 2013.
Treating for the first time since October 31 with Buyers Club Sof/Led. Thanks so much guys. Minimal side effects apart from sore throat at the start..
Viral load 5.4m when treatment started, Undetected at 4 weeks, 8 weeks, End of Treatment and 12-weeks post EOT. Yay!18 January 2016 at 10:00 pm #9693I’m writing this from New Delhi, still overwhelmed by all that huge megalopolis throwed at me today. On top of that right now I’m staring at six pack of Ledifos bottles, 3 of which I’m getting for another hepc survivor who could not get an Indian visa.
Still not believing I have a chance for life without this damned bug in these 3 little bottles.
I’ve met Mr. Parag Jain, owner of Bullpharmachem who in person brought medication to my Hotel, so no fuss running around crazy Delhi streets looking for pharmacies. Parag is a great fellow and we had a breakfast together talking about hepc, India, and Greg Jefferys who connected us.
I have three more days to roam Delhi’s polluted and crowded streets and taste every food possible. I had also scheduled Fibroscan test cos it’s only 50USD at private clinics.
I’ve decidet to start tx on my return home hence I don’t want any side effects to ruin my Delhi adventure.

CAP(db/m) – 220
E (kPa) 6.8
CAP depicts liver fattiness (steatosis) , and there I’m little above limit, the other number is below 7 which should mean I dont have significant liver fibrosis. Unfortunately the procedure is not that precise in F0-F2 range, but I’m happy it’s not cirrhotic.Traveling by elevated train to clinic which is at the suburbs of Delhi was adventure by itself, crowds of people cars, tuktuks and animals are everywhere. There is non stop honking and shouting. Pollution is beyond imagination. Thick smelly fog encircle whole city and the sun can be seen like a hazy white disc.

I’ve safely arrived home, been even promoted to business class seat for some reason so had a great trip with lost of leg space and massage
Going tomorrow to my doc so tx can be officially initiated. Will also check liver enzymes before starting, and PCR results are on the way.
Are there any recommended diet, like what is good to eat while on Harvoni tx?
I’m not on any other medications, and aware that grapefruit and st. johns wort should be avoided, not sure about milk thistle but will restrain from all artificial vitamins and supplements just in case.
What about coffee?

Nothing much to report, I think I have more energy and concentration during the working day, better appetite, sleeping well.
Only issue is back pain like I have injured muscle or nerve in my upper right back, for two days now, but not sure it is tx related. I was doing some exercises so it could be from that.Anyway PCR results came back so baseline parameters beofre tx are as follows:
VL: 500.000
Fibroscan: 6.8 kPa

The extra energy we experience in the early weeks of Tx means we tend to do more than usual, so maybe your pain in upper back right side is part of this. I’m assuming you mean the scapula – shoulder blade region? Neck and shoulder muscles, especially if you’re right-handed, maybe sore from a workout. But if you have neck problems, the cervical vertebrae can pinch nerves that radiate pain into the scapula, shoulder, and/or down the arm into the hand and fingers.
Do you have a heat pack to apply? Maybe some ‘Deep Heat’ to rub in; ‘Voltaren Emulgel’ is good for local inflammation too; good old Tiger Balm (although they use petrochemicals and mineral oils as base) has a very soothing essential oil blend.Body aches and pains are commonly reported here, so having some therapeutic items for back-up will help.
There is a section on contra-indicated medicines, herbs, supplements on here under Main Forum>Experts Corner. Some people don’t like to discuss their GI issues but many are having problems like constipation, loose stools etc. So, diet needs to be modified as you notice things, pay attention to anything you’re eating that leaves you bloated, tired afterwards (common sign of gluten ‘crash’ intolerance) and change in stools. Don’t eat too much meat, especially red, as it takes a lot of work for your liver to break down. Heavy meals overall probably not a good thing, stick with lighter meals and healthy snacks. Remember your liver is in a Battle with the DAA army against the HCV army – so it’s working hard as it is.
If you’re having the sweats and dry mouth keep up your water intake, if you’re having severe sweats (like I have) you need electrolytes too, also if you have episodes of diarrhoea.Your blood results look good wish you well on your journey.
