18 March 2016 at 11:03 am #14079Congrats Tina!
Better late than never!
All this makes me think my GP might be right about not bothering to test till SVR12.
It must be a nice feeling having an early UND, but if you don’t get one, then maybe its unnecessary torture.

mild”18 March 2016 at 11:07 am #14080Heya FF tell me about it haha
Yeah its nice to have the reassurance of an early UND I know I would of felt better if that was the case for me – like you said better late than never and you are so right about the torture of a Looong 14 week wait to get an UND.

18 March 2016 at 11:16 am #14085Yes!!! …. Terrific news Tina!
Diagnosed Jan 2015: GT3, A0+F0/F1. Fatigue + Brain-Fog.
Started Sof+Dac from fixHepC 10-Nov-2015. NO sides.
Pre-Tx: AST 82, ALT 133, Viral Load 1 900 000.
Week4: AST 47, ALT 58. VL < 15 (unquantifiable). Week12 (EOT): AST 30, ALT 26, VL UND Week16 (EOT+4): AST 32, ALT 28, GGT 24, VL UND Week28 (EOT+16): AST 26, ALT 22, GGT 24, VL UND Ever grateful to Dr James. Relapsed somewhere after all that... Bummer! Jan 2018: VL 63 000 (still GT3).18 March 2016 at 11:16 am #14086From the stats in that article you posted, there are quite a few people who would still be detected at end of tx…35% of Sof/Led 12 weekers in fact…even though 95% are ultimately clear at svr12.
Considering my obsessive tendencies, I think I might just leave it to fate, and not even go there.

mild”18 March 2016 at 11:22 am #14087Yeh FF dont entertain that thought and banish it from your consciousness – it messed with me for a number of weeks. I looked to my LFTS for confirmation of the effectiveness of the meds – its what kept me sane and positive, I also had the best treatment buddy Hazel who fought in my corner when I felt like shit
You are coming up 3 weeks in?
SVR 24
18 March 2016 at 11:27 am #14088Day 16. Even my LFTs wouldn’t have dropped much seeing as they were always in the normal range.
I know the meds are working though…I can just tell. I think the best thing for me is just to let it ride, take the pills and wait it out. After all here in the lucky country the meds are falling off the trees.
I have great support too…family and friends all in my corner
Really should just be grateful and happy.
