Hey y’all.
My sig line kind of tells the story. Just did my 4 week post treatment VL yesterday and am hopeful but not overly confident. My treatment plan hit a snafu halfway through. Had been approved to retreat for 24 weeks but got cut off at 12 weeks, appealed, lost appealed again and won but there was a 10 day gap in treatment so I refused any further shipments.
The Insurance Company messed up big time and apparently they know is by nature of second appeal approval. They were proven wrong in the initial denial so I assume if I do fail, they will be cooperative going forward.

The rapid reach of UND is a hopeful sign and I should know more next week sometime. Boy talk about being able to hear the clock tick!

Hi Jimmy and welcome. You’ve had a bit of a battle but those results look pretty good so far. Good luck with that blood test – we totally understand the anxiety while waiting for results. Let us know how you go.

Genotype 3 30 years, 2x treatment interferon/ribavirin non responder. Cirrhosis 17 years. Fibroscan, decompensating, 40 down to 22 by 29/3/16- now down to 6.5, normal, no cirrhosis. Started Buyers Club Sof/Dac 14 Nov 15. SVR 12 29/0716

Hi !

To be honest I was a little shocked they had initially approved the 24 weeks. Guidelines do not particularity support it. At any rate water under the bridge now. Just have to hold for results and pray.

Diagnosed in 2004, had HCV for all my adult life. Until 2016!!!!
Harvoni treatment, started 19 March 2016
4 week results Bilirubin 12 down from 14 pre treatment,
Gamma 25 down from 52, ALT 19 down from 63, AST 19 down from 47,
VL <15 down from a lazy 6 million or so

EOT Results
Bilirubin 10, GGT 18, ALT 19, AST 21, VL UND

12 Weeks post EOT
Bilirubin 11, GGT 16, ALT 22, AST 20, VL UND

G1a dx’d in 1992, Biopsy F2 VL 8mill +. Tried tx with Interferon/Riba, back in 2008 didn’t last long it felt horribly ugly!! I stopped tx, after 5 weeks!!
Started tx 6/1/16 with Harvoni.

Update on EOT + 4 Weeks HCV RNA Blood Draw.

To my pleasant surprise, and of course by the Grace of God, I remain UND.
So from here things are looking up and I will go on to the next step which is to determine SVR 12.
That draw will take place 09/29/16.
I believe I am now in the roughly 96% category for success so very pleased.
