    @jay-kim

    hello.

I m jinsung kim(you can call me jay kim) from south korea.

Many korean hep-c patients are using hopetavir(incepta’s generic sovaldi) and Twinvir(incepta’s generic harvoni).

i am GT1a. I tried hopetavir and rivabirin for 12wks before twinvir came out. results was good during treatment, but didnt get SVR4 though..

now i am on 2st week of twinvir.

In korea, we have simillar community like fixhep-c. but there is few GT1a. so i want to share treatment stories and tell you korean stories too(many koreans, especially GT1b, GT2, are getting close to SVR).

Thanks for having me in. :)

Hello jay kim and welcome, :)

I see from reading that there are mostly 1b & 2a genotypes in Korea? I look forward to hearing of your community and treatment process over there. :+1:

oh i didnt know where to write me intro.

looks like i had better introduce myself on another thread.

    thanks Gaj.

Yes. we koreans mostly have 1b, 2a.

those who get treatment by sofosbuvir+interferon+ribavirin(1b) and sofosbuvir+ribavirin(2a) hit SVR12 even SVR24 alrealdy.

but still no SVRs by sofosbuvir+ledipasvir(1a, 1b) due to the time issue.

In korea, most people use incepta’s products.

let me put my post in adequate topic thread.

    Thanks isaing4.

    i have questions about twinvir.

i tried to catch up all the information in this forum, but still not used to how to navigate this website.

is it true that Dr. Freeman have conducted the tests to see if twinvir is identical with original harvoni?

actually korean patients are still scary that twinvir is not effective as original one.

if there is a test result, please let me know where to see that.

    thank you in advance.

Yes of course Dr Freeman has tested it before prescribing it to many patients. Please search forum for “27th of August 2015′ or click here: http://fixhepc.com/forum/questions-and-answers/665-prof-ed-gane-s-remarks-implications-for-twinvir.html#9932

Jay, have the South Korean patients or their doctors been buying the Twinvir directly from Incepta or some other party?

Thank you so much for your kindness.

Now I am very relieved that I am taking right medication.

Actually, there is a problem about koreans getting twinvir.

One who bought the incepta’s product(generic sovald) got help from korean guest-house owner in Bangladesh’s captal, Dhaka. The guest-house owner still buys incepta’s medications for korean patients. I heard he is close to someone in Incepta.

Since there is a language barrier between Bangladesh and Korea(moreover, most hep-c patients who need to be treated are old and don’t speak English at all), I think it is inevitable to get medication from him.

I don’t think that he is making a lot of money since koreans buy 12wks Twinvir for around 1600 USD from the guest-house owner.

Oh US$160 for 12 weeks of Twinvir. Are you sure this is correct, not 1600?

    Oh. My bad.

it is 1600 USD, not 160 USD.

it is reasonable price, isnt it?

Well in this case better to pay too much than too little, which would mean it was fake. I suggest you communicate with the forum member Parvez from Incepta. He can do a better deal I am sure.

    Thanks Chaple.

I think that korean patients need to get the medications directly from incepta for several issues. However, korean patients think it hard to take a process and communicate with English. That is why we dont have many patients who buy Indian medications. Moreover, the guest-house owner is believed to be very reliable gate to get medications among patients.
