Wow roshvfighter thank you soooo much for writing your story and sharing it with us. I enjoyed reading every word of it!
I’d like to share it elsewhere too as it brings a very important first person experience as well as very useful links.
Thank you also for your impeccable work translating texts to your language. You have inspired me to do the same and although not with the same “professionalism” I am slowly spreading the word about generics in my country as well. I agree once we are cured we automatically become activists as we want to share this blessing with as many people as possible. Congratulations on your brave journey and my heart felt wishes to your SVR! I will meet you there.
Big hug from Brazil.

17 July 2016 at 1:19 am #20993I read every word of your post, I feel you feel very blessed to have met this team of Angels and rightfully so. I know all of us feel that way. I am very appreciative of your post and making it from another country that freedom does not seem 100% it is that much more impressive. I know your great journey will continue as you seem to be a leader of people and I hope your persistence will make opportunity a reality for others and will bring you the prosperity you desire in all avenues of life. Thank you again for your post, it did as you intended it to do.

I really can relate to your story, I was born in Bulgaria 1966.I also don’ t know how I got hep C, you made me thinking about that in a different angle…… this about the vaccination in School, I didn’t realize till now this how they did it at that time!!! So most likely the same was happening in Socialist Bulgaria when I was a child. I’m speechless.
Anyway, better to focus on the positive that we are here, and we doing our best to get healthy and live our life!
Congrats on your successful EOT and I wish you UND SVR @ 12 weeks!! and forever!BIg
Stay strong!

Thank you for your wishes. On my turn I wish you an easy journey through the treatment and to reach the happy finish lines SVR12 and SVR24
.
I am now almost 4 weeks after EOT and I am physically OK. The anxiety of waiting another 8 weeks till the next VL blood analysis is somehow difficult to handle, so I keep reminding me that other people reported similar things. My level of enthusiasm is quite low these days, so I was thinking to apply a placebo strategy : to take some Calcium pills, place it in some appricot jam to get the brown color like the generic drugs that I took during the treatment and then to start taking 1pill/day at 10:00pm
Just kidding, despite the fact my sense of humour is in vacation these days and away from me.
Cheers,
RHF

SVR52 achieved30 August 2016 at 12:16 am #22627A reflection from today…..
Someone asked me recently how has it been for me to get treated with HCV generic drugs.
Honestly, I found it quite hard to answer to this question in just a couple of words/sentences, as there were so many things to tell… I gave a couple of explanations (which I hope were of a good quality), however the question was repeating and repeating in my head (“How could I describe my experience ???”…..).In the end, I decided to illustrate my experience as it follows:
Why is that?
– it was not a simple journey and to many it (still) seems impossible – but to me and others from here, we know it is a “possible” journey;
– I had to learn many things about the HCV generic drugs. And all this in a “hostile” environment for generic drugs;
– I put my trust in people I never knew before (@fixhepc) and I listened to their belief that “GENERICS WORK!”.
– the trip on the water to get rid of HCV by generic drugs had many turbulences (finding reliable sources of information, supply chain, overcome the fears), but with the brave people from here and an overdaring doctor, the “scaring” journey turned to be one full of adrenaline and fun!
– talking about HCV and the generic drugs (here but also with my friends) helped me in better understanding my situation and gaining more confidenceCheers,
RHF

I have read all your posts.
They were an inspiring and honest revelation of your thoughts and stories. I have experienced many of the same situations and feelings that you so aptly describe. I applaud your determination to source your treatment in a similar manner as many of us have done, holding onto trust and belief on the way. I sourced my meds from China before fixhepc transitioned to a partnership with other o/s pharmas ie India and Bangladesh.

isaing4@gmail.com24 September 2016 at 12:13 pm #23250Hello Everybody,
I am now 10 weeks after EOT and reading lately so many wonderful news about people here reaching SVR12 or SVR24, I decided to make a blood test for the liver enzymes.
The results show that TGP and TGO got even better (couple of units lower) than those from EOT (which were already very good – at the middle of the normal range). I would take this as a promising result.In 2 weeks time I will make the VL blood test,hopefully SVR12 will be confirmed.
P.S. last night there was an earthquake in Romania around 2:11 am, quite strong 5.6 on a Richter scale. Luckily no casualties, but some people got scared.
Cheers and a nice week-end,
RHF
