Dear Fitz I also LOVED your post! Felt every word you wrote. So well expressed my new friend writer. I am happy we are in this together and I deeply appreciate your presence here. I also feel deep gratitude towards those pills. Each day (I am on day 11) I kiss it before taking it and then smile big! Thought it was a Latin thingy, but reading what you shared I see we are all connected and share the same frequencies of gratitude! I wish your sides get easier as days go by and that soon we will be celebrating our SVRs. Also thank you for stopping by every once in a while to ask how I am. big hug from Brazil to all of you.

Meg, what fantastic positive energy you have. We’ll get to SVR, and tell the world about it on the way!

My gun safe was my medicine cabinet.
I still have all my Mesochem packaging and paperwork, along with my two Harvoni bottles. I go through an incredible range of emotions when I look at them.

Cured baby15 June 2016 at 9:07 am #19092Hi Fitz
Thanks for posting your progress update.
It sounds like the first week of your treatment is on track … albeit with a few common side effects … feeling better is good news … feeling dramatically better, however, happens in time …
I haven’t been emotional since starting treatment. Until today, that is. I had a tear in my eye while reading what you and Ariel have written. You both have articulately expressed what most of us have experienced to varying degrees while living with HCV and trying to get treatment. It really saddens me when I read how negatively others react to knowing someone has HCV. But we all have experienced it. That’s the beauty of this forum, we can share our experiences with each other, offer support, understanding, advice, and share a joke or two. It’s a great way to normalise what otherwise has been a very isolating and debilitating disease suffered by many for decades.
Don’t dwell on the past, focus on the future, keep thinking positive thoughts, and you’ll be HCV free in no time.
Thanks Fitz … great post mate.

Congratulations on starting your treatment and all kudos to you for spreading the word. I’m on the path to SVR at the moment (optimistically) and can tell you that you will notice the difference when you become UND. I felt like I had my life back and will be forever grateful. I wish you the same wonderfulness. Coral

.forever grateful to fixhepc15 June 2016 at 11:34 am #19107Are those perhaps Gilead guns against the Hep C virus using Gilead’s 1000$ Harvoni pills as bullets? Meaning it will never get used…
One should rather stay with the 10$ generic pills. It kills theC virus without the need to hold a gun. Simply take it with a glass of water….
In fiecare an HCV ucide peste 500000 oameni.Medicamentele generice pentru hepatita C functioneaza. Nu deveni statistica! Cauta pe Google “medicamente generice pentru hepatita C”.
HCV kills more than 500000 people every year. HCV generic drugs work. Don’t become a statistic.
