Beaches those concerts you were telling me about sound amazing to see Supertramp live is a dream of mine. In NZ we are a tad starved of epic concerts as you describe.
and last but not least Psycho Killer is one of the best songs in the universe and thats why im hitting the repeat
I think it’s getting better for NZ.
Did you get Acca Dacca recently? Sydney show was fun even though it was pussing down rain. Leonard Cohen has been (and if you didn’t go and you ever get the chance, do yourself a favour.) I heard the Simon and Garfunkel show in AKL was eepuc (lol) especially when the power went out and the audience started singing instead. (My sis lives in AKL and was at that show)
Another favourite of mine, Belle & Sebastian finally got there. For a while I was thinking they weren’t going to include Australia in that tour and was going to come over to see them.I love this talking heads song too (have not seen talking heads (sob))
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBUe_v6Mi70%5B/quote%5DHey Beaches and yep AccaDacca come here quite a bit (their venues are filled to capacity) pretty impressive stuff when you bear in mind the population of NZ is round 4.5 million. Last good live gig I went too was Fleetwood Mac here in Dunedin. such a cool time the whole town celebrated, thousands made the trip here to see it at Forsyth Barr Stadium. Hope we get some more big names come visit, the latest visitors were Black Sabeth (sadly i was working and couldn’t go).

18 June 2016 at 10:28 am #19433Hey beaches, my mother in law, who, as most school aged children of “that” time, was automatically enrolled in the Hitler Youth Movement. She once told me that the holocaust was, “ALL propaganda! Six million Jews! There weren’t even six million Jews in the world back then!” She also thinks the moon landing was shot on a Hollywood movie set!
But that was before her world was shattered when she learned that the man she was told was her father most of her life, was not, and that her true father was a former SS officer and that she had 2 half sisters and a half brother hmy: THAT has mellowed her a bit. She doesn’t believe everything that comes down the pike these days

Musica Surfica
The Reef
I’m popping up a meditative Sunday morning clip for those in this time zone good morning for those on the other side enjoy this with your good red. Or celery and ginger zinger.
The project germinated in Jan Juc on Viccos Surf Coast but the films were made in King Island and West Oz in a secret location. Most boards are finless. Richard Tognetti wrote and performed the score and other divine offerings are woven into the musical text, Rachmaninov is there.
I think these two films depict the heart of our beautiful coast and wilderness plus they merge my own two true loves, strings and surfing so it’s something from my heart to anyone who goes and gets hold of these iconic offerings. True masterpieces of cinema. These two from West Oz
Have a relaxing day -
