7/07/16 UND SVR 2410 May 2017 at 12:07 pm #26021Today at my workplace I got a bad paper cut and bled over a shared desk hmy: In the past I would have felt deep anxiety at seeing my infected blood spilled in a public place. But today it felt different, for the first time since my diagnosis almost 40 years ago, I did not feel panic. I calmly cleaned up, wearing a small inner smile

7 December 2017 at 12:58 pm #27117A year ago I landed at my family doctor’s rooms complaining of feeling seedy. “What could it be?” asked the friendly locum doc who was filling in. “My untreated HCV?” I wondered aloud. He wrote a referral letter to a local hepatologist and exhorted me to get treated. And so I did. Cured now, I am. SVR 24
It turned out the lethargy was just low blood pressure so I upped my salt intake and sorted it out that way. But the side effect of meeting that doctor was that I took the steps to get the cure for the HCV. Win-win. Thank you FixHepC
