Plenty of time for you to get to UND yet Em. Some don’t get there until 9 or 10 weeks into a 12 week treatment and still achieve SVR.

Yes, I’d be a bit upset too, at the same time your liver functions & other blood tests were very good, so I believe it is only a matter of waiting a bit longer for SVR.
As you said you could have F3 fibrosis & also you’re tx experienced, I’m in the same situation, so due to this we probably need longer then 12 weeks tx & even add Riba at some point?
I was wondering if one can add Riba half way through the tx ? to assure best results ?

Geno 3, Fibro 8.7 pKA, tx experinced in 2005 – Peg/Riba, relapsed.
Started tx 1/12/2015 with Indian Sofo & Chinese Dac.
5 weeks result all normal, ALT 18 – down from ALT 73 at the start of tx.
5 weeks HCV PCR RNA – UND. – down from 2 ML
9 weeks HCV PCR RNA – UND.

Thanks for the well wishes and encouragement everyone. The long way round is okay with me. Riba? I’m still not sold on it for geno 1s? However would be keen on adding simprevir if anyone knows where. Em

Jolie -there was somebody on medhelp who added riba for the last 15 weeks of her 24 week tx. She got to SVR.

Is it really as simple as buying API on Alibaba ?
There is one API I have my sight on for geno 3 to add to the mix sold in China, I mean is that all it takes ?
I did check the company looks very big & reputable making medicinal API.s

Because if it is as simple anyone can make their own meds…..& mix anything they like

I think so Joy so approved with IFN/Riba as a tripple. Think i could take great pleasure smashing the ampules of IFN lol. Dont think you can obtain or buy separately

Sure Jolie it has given us treatment power, but these drugs do need expert advice. Please don’t do any drug combinations without expert advice. Drugs interact with each other. You could end up with organ failure if not following the experts. We do this is cause the drugs are far too expensive not the drug combinations are wrong. I am a 3 non responder with cirrhosis, a hard to treat category, even though desperate to clear this virus, I wouldn’t mix medicines. kindly
